It was a little confusing when we looked at what you guys wrote. We didn't really understand until we looked at the equation. We think you can make it more simple and easy to understand.

    1) Does the story fit with the equation? Is it functional? Would you actually write this equation from this word story problem?
The story didn't fit with the equation and I would not have written this problem with this story.

    2) Does it make sense, or is it a little confusing? Discuss what is not clear, and suggest improvements.
It did not make sense because the they didn't explain the situation well.

    3) Are there any grammatical mistakes? How should they be corrected?
There are grammatical mistakes. They could fix it to "Kai bought 3 carrots from x carrot farms. Then he sold 12 carrots to 5 people and did not have any carrots left. How many farms did Kai get the carrots from?"

    4) Is the story creative? How could it be made better?
The story is creative, but it doesn't make sense.

    5) What are the positive points about the word problem?
    It is creative.

    1) It is confusing. It doesn’t really fit the equation.

    2) It doesn’t make sense. It would have been better if you made the sentences more clear.

    3) There were grammar mistakes. “How many farms did he did get the carrots from?” This sentence was a little confusing. It would have been better if you wrote like this: How many farms did he get the carrots from?
    4) The story is creative.

    5) The positive points are that it was creative.

  5. The story didn't really fit with the equation. I wouldn't have written this problem after reading the story.
We think it didn't make sense because it didn't explain enough and made it too short.
Same as the post above: Kai bought each 3 carrots from x amount of carrot farms. Then Kai sold 12 carrots to 5 people, and ended up with none. How many farms did he did get the carrots from?
It's creative and it could really happen in daily life. It could improve by writting it more specific.
In a positive way, they used themselves as an example and it's a real-life example.

  6. Kai owns a vegetable store. His carrots were sold out so Kai bought 3 carrots from x carrot farms. Then he organized the carrots 5 groups and each group had 12 carrots. How many farms did Kai buy the Carrot from
