What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part was that there were more than 1 way to go. For example, we had 4 classes to choose from and if we went to the wrong one we would have a punishment.

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was that there were videos because some of them weren’t loading which made the scavenger hunt harder.

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I liked the videos, but sometimes it took too long for it to load and I wish there were more problems to solve.
    4)  Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think is was a good idea because we weren’t allowed to see the problems and skip some of the steps.

    1. What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was trying to figure out the clues. Also, fast-walking around was pretty fun, but tiring. I liked that it was a race against the other students.

    2. What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was singing to the students. I didn’t like it also because we had to do it over again, but I think that part was still interesting (kind of) to do.

    3. What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I would make it less tiring. After the Scavenger Hunt, I felt like I ran at least a mile, but it was fun going around the school. I would also make the clues a bit harder, so we would have to think about it.

    4. Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
Yes, because there were clues that were incorrect and some that were right. It was also fun to have the youtube videos to watch. In my opinion, the codes helped a lot in making it more enjoyable for us.

  3. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
    1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was when we went into the wrong classroom. We went into Ms.Bogart's room later finding out that we were supposed to be in the room next to her's. I also liked the videos of the teachers.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when some of the teachers didn't say the numbers clearly in the videos and we couldn't understand what they were saying.
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
If I could remake the scavenger hunt I would change the clues. I found out that the clues were too easy so everyone ended up just following each other. Even if they were easy answers I would make them more difficult so that the students would have to think a little to find the answers.
    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
They did make them fun, but because they needed internet connection, it lagged a lot. It took Erica and I a long time to scan in Mr.Evans' class due to the weak internet.

  4. 1. The favorite part was the QR codes since I thought it was new and interesting way to do the scavenger hunt. Also, I liked that the scavenger hunt was only in middle school because it might have took the whole class period or more if it was all over the school.
    2. The least favorite part was that there were some problems to the QR codes or the internet, and sometimes, the video did not load up quickly.
    3. If I could change about the scavenger hunt, I would change the location of the clues, and the clues itself since they were too easy too find.
    4. I do think they made the scavenger hunt a lot more fun. It is mostly because I could use technology to search for things. However, there were some technical problems as well.

  5. 1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
I liked all parts! I've never tried anything related to QR codes in my life. Actually, I really didn't know that they could lead you to certain websites and could be used efficiently. Since this was a really brand new experience for me, I liked every part of it.

    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
I can't really say anything about my least favorite parts because I hardly have any. However, it was sometimes annoying to scan so many QR codes. I think the fact that every single question being in the QR codes were sometimes annoying and hard to do, since we had to crazily open different web browsers.

    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I think that there should be more fun activities and things to do when going to a certain place. For example, in this Scavenger Hunt we only had answering a question, receiving clues, and going to the next station. Like the first semester, doing some activities when going to the station (Like shouting out silly phrases like last semester's Scavenger Hunt) could have been more fun to do.

    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
Since this was a brand new experience for me, I think the Scavenger Hunt was more fun using QR codes. It was fun to use an application in my smart phone to scan a code to receive questions and clues that led to Youtube videos. It was cool for me to scan them!

  6. 1) My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was the whole thing...I can’t choose a part that I liked best! Solving the problems, finding the correct answer and searching for the clues was an altogether exciting and fun experience. I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt. It helped us review and tested our knowledge in math, but it did so in an interesting and engaging way.

    2) My least favorite part was the physical exertion the Scavenger Hunt required. Vicky and I had to “speed walk” up and down the stairs, through hallways, and back and forth between different classrooms. Today was an especially hot day, and everybody was sweating like pigs. However, I am thankful that we didn’t have to run as much as the 8th graders did last year!

    3) If possible, I would make the Scavenger Hunt cheating-free. Like Yumi said, many people ended up just following each other. I felt irritated at this, because some people worked hard on the Hunt and found the clues honestly, but others were able to move on without even lifting a finger. Maybe next time, there could be certain problems designated for certain groups. This would ensure less cheating.

    4) Yes, the QR codes made the Scavenger Hunt a lot more interesting. We had to incorporate technology, logic and math in the Hunt. The QR codes were a fantastic idea. Vicky and I had a lot of fun with them, and it was exciting to have to scan the clues. The videos were also an awesome idea. I think the Scavenger Hunt was amazing.

  7. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was when we went around the school looking for QR Codes. Also, singing for Mrs. Taylor’s classroom was fun, since they were in my grade.

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
The least favorite part was that we didn’t get to go to the G-Building. I think it would have been more fun if the scale of the scavenger hunt was a little larger. Then, there are possibilities to overrun other teams.

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I would put some clues in the G-Building and increase the scale of the Scavenger Hunt. I personally thought that doing it only in the Middle School was too little. Also, I would have made the clues more harder, because most of them were quite straight-forward.

    4)  Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would
have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think it made the hunt more fun because the QR codes didn’t show the directions unless we scanned them, so then people weren’t able to cheat and skip parts. Also, some people used the wrong QR codes which lead them to the incorrect clues, and that was quite fun too.

  8. 1. What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part was when I answered the questions on Mr. Jobe’s class. It was easy to answer so we did not have to waste our time. I felt pretty good about myself.

    2. What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when I couldn’t solve the problem and we had to stay in the fifth floor. I also did not like the fact that I was in the last place.

    3. What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
None. There is nothing to change because I enjoyed it. But there were some questions that were hard and I didn’t like it.

    4. Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I think that QR Codes made the hunt more fun because of the use of technology. It also gives different ways to provide clues. However since I did not have the phone, it was difficult for both of us to look.

  9. 1) My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was the fact that we get to go around the school and find clues.I also liked the part when my partner and I went into the wring classroom. It was funny because we were scanning a code and while we were solving it we realized we were at the wrong place.
    2) My least favorite part was when the YouTube videos didn't load and we had to wait a long time for it to work.
    3) I would have made the scavenger hunt clues harder and I would have liked it if the scavenger hunt went to other buildings other than just the Middle School Building.
    4) I do think that the QR codes make the scavenger hunt fun because you can't skip a problem but you need Internet connection and if the internet isn't working the you can't see the site that the QR code leads to.

  10. 1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was everything! I especially liked how the scavenger hunt “upgraded” by using QR codes. I also liked how I got to review things that we did in the beginning of the semester. Truthfully, I forgot some parts, but this scavenger hunt helped me remember them.

    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when we had to run around a lot. Alie and I couldn’t run (we had to speed walk) and it was really tiring. We went up and down and up and down. It was really hot that day and everyone was sweating so much.

    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I want to change the cheating about the Scavenger Hunt. Many people were running and didn’t get caught. Also, some people asked people where we had to go and cheated. I would also like to put some questions in the G Building and the High School building, maybe also in the elementary building. It would be hard to go back and forth, but I think it would be cool and fun.

    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think the QR Codes made the Scavenger Hunt much more fun. Sometimes because of the wifi, it didn’t work, but it was really cool. Also, the QR Codes made me learn more about how technology has improved a lot. Another thing is that if we got something wrong, it would lead us to the wrong thing. So, the QR Codes also encouraged us to learn and get the problem right.

  11. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
    1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part was having the QR codes and hunting for the clues. The QR codes made it much simple and easier, while the clues were fun to unravel.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was having to go up, and down, the stair continuously, and saying I love you four times to the God or Goddess. The stairs made me exhausted, but since it was the first block I got wide awake from sleep. The I love you part was very hard for our team because it was hard to film all of the words.
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I would change the hardness of the clues. Some clues were way to easy to find out which sometimes took the fun away.

    4)  Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
Yes, The QR codes made the hunt more interesting, and fun. We had new technology, which increased the excitement. The videos were cool as well it was awesome how you filmed the videos and put them on youtube just for the scavenger hunt!

  12. 1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part was figuring out the riddles. I also liked going around my friends. The last one was scanning the QR codes.

    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was running around the building. It was really tiring to make other teams not find out where we were going and running around.

    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I think it would be a bit better if Mr. Jobe made the riddles easier because my team didn't understand one of the riddles and went to the wrong place and wasted a lot of time.

    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I think the QR code made the hunt more fun because it was like solving a code instead of only reading it. One of the fun parts was scanning the QR codes too.

  13. What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was scanning the QR codes and gathering all the hints to get to the next place.
What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when other groups were following us without even doing math by themselves and we had to run around the school to get the 1st place (I felt like dying).
What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I do not think there is anything to change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better because QR Code Scavenger Hunt was so great. One thing to point out is that it was kind of challenging to figure out where to go next (the hints were so difficult to figure out).
Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
QR Codes made the hunt way more fun because it made the scavenger hunt more realistic and competitive (everyone was searching for QR Codes so badly xD)

The singing part :) It was very funny and the moving through all school.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
    Nothing :) everything was fun.
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
Nothing I guess. Everything was so perfect. The QR Code, the hints, everything
    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
Yep, if qr codes wasn't in this hunt then It would've been a little worst because it was creative with QR codes

  15. What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was understanding the video or clue, and solving it. I loved all the clues, but my favorite one was the Pacman photo! It took me the longest to figure out, but it was the most satisfying as well.

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
I don’t think there was a part I didn’t like about the scavenger hunt, but if I had to pick one it would be singing to the 6th graders in Mrs.Taylor’s classroom!! It was so embarrassing!

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I think the scavenger hunt could have been better if it were a bit more longer, and the teachers would be a bit more mysterious(?) and hard on us.

Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
Yes, I think the QR Codes definitely made the hunt more fun because at least for me, it was something I’ve never done before, and it was fun using technology in a different and more interesting!

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was if we went to the wrong way we had to sing “I’m a little Teapot”.
What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
Get ride of the part where we had to go to the court because it didn’t work. Maybe the part where we went to the I.T. office because it just made us go right away to an another class
Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think the QR codes made it really fun with them, it felt different from the things I ever done.

  17. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was using our smart phones to scan QR codes. It seemed more advanced, and Jessie and I had a lot of fun using our phones instead of just finding pieces of paper, because other students would usually take the piece of paper and hog it until they were done with the problem. I really enjoyed that it was a lot faster and the clues weren’t that obvious. However, I wish that the rooms of the clues were closer together, so that we didn’t have to run so much.

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was watching some other groups copy off of other people, while my partner and I stayed at those stations longer, trying to solve the problems. I thought it was a bit unfair, and like Mr. Jobe explained in class, I thought those stations should have had a teacher watching, but there weren’t enough teachers who didn’t have classes that block. Other than that, I enjoyed everything else.

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I would create different routes, maybe 3 or 4, so that groups wouldn’t really be able to copy off of each other. And when one group enters a room, the next group must wait until that group is finished. I think it’d make groups try to solve quicker and it’d be more challenging. I really liked the PACMAN clue, and I thought it was really clever. If there were more clues like that, I think it’d be more challenging and exciting.

    4)  Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think the QR codes made the hunt more fun that it would have been without them, because it was easier than trying to hog a piece of paper, and read clues. It was quicker, and less complicated. Although Jessie’s phone eventually ran out of battery, we had a lot of fun watching the videos that Mr. Jobe created, and trying to figure out the clues teachers were giving in their video segments. I think that the QR codes made the hunt more like a real scavenger hunt, not a pre- algebra review game.

  18. 1. My favorite part of the scavenger hunt is that we could use the QR codes. This is because Mr. Jobe could put questions and where to go direction by youtube video.
    2. My least favorite part was that the QR code classes were too far away such as PAC to basketball court. So, we need to run all the floors and make noises.
    3. To make this scavenger hunt better, I think you have to make more stages or make more tricks so people gets more confused and fun.
    4. I think QR code made the hunt more fun because Mr. Jobe could put videos from youtube, and make better questions on online internet, too. So, I think QR code made hunt more better.

What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
    - My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was the QR codes. It was very scientific and interesting.

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
    - The least favorite part of the scavenger hunt were the traps. Our group, me and David were tricked by the video and we had to dance in front of students from Ms Bogarts class.

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
    - For the Scavenger hunt to be better, we could have small games in each station. For example “rock sizers paper”. You have to win to solve the problem.

Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
    - I think the QR Codes made the hunt much more fun, because with the QR Codes, the game was much more creative and scientific.

  20. 1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
I think the favorite part was the traps. For example, Ms.Bogart's, when our team accidentally went to Ms.Bogart's room we had to do this dance in order to go to proper place. Also I like the usage of technology, for instance the QR code and different kinds of hints from it.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part of the scavenger was that it was too much QR codes. The QR code thing was very creative and interesting, but I think there were too much QR codes. It would have been better with right amount of QR and other clues too!
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I think the scavenger hunt will be better if there were some divisions in the scavenger hunt. I mean that there were only few choices that we can make. So I think it could be better if we can make our own choices. So even though each player have different choices and steps, eventually finish at same place.
    4)  Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think QR code was fun and interesting. However, with QR code, I think there are some limits for varieties of clues. So I think it would be better if there were some QR codes but also some other interesting clues as well!

My favorite part was the last part, where you had a choice whether to sing or say I love you...It was hilarious watching the people do it.

    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when Mr. Jobe trolled us, making go all the way up to the cage and we had to waste time going back to the room.
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
Maybe that the hunt itself should be longer, and more interactive.
    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
It made it really fun, as it was a lot more fun to solve problems in riddles.
